MEET THE TEAMS

Executive Decision | Accolades & Legacy
Forged in 2017, Executive Decision made an immediate impact on the offshore tournament scene—placing 3rd Overall and securing Top Lady Angler honors at the Marathon Offshore Bull & Cow in their debut appearance. That tournament would become a proving ground year after year, with the team racking up Top Lady Angler titles in three different years, multiple daily top fish awards, and consistent Top 3 finishes.
At the Skipper’s Dolphin Tournament, Executive Decision took back-to-back 1st Place wins in 2017 and 2018, dominating the field with the Top 3 Largest Fish, both daily wins, and another Top Lady Angler award to their name.
Their run in the IFC Captain’s Cup from 2017–2024 shows consistent excellence, with a 1st Place win, a 2nd Place debut, and placings in every other year—despite the event not having a separate Lady Angler division.
In 2020, the team fully geared up for Sailfish season, launching with a record-setting day of 26 Sailfish caught. That decision marked a turning point.
The Jimmy Johnson Quest for the Ring Sailfish Championship, one of the most prestigious sailfish events in the world, became a new battleground:
- 2021: 5th Place Center Console, 15th Overall (61 boats)
- 2022: One fish away from Grand Champion, landing 2nd Place Overall and bringing in $120,000 in winnings
- 2023: 4th Place Overall with daily wins contributing to another standout performance
Across the Ladies Sailfish Tournament, Marathon Premiere Sailfish, and the growingly competitive Mahi Mayhem Invitational, Executive Decision has continued to shine:
- Top Lady Angler: 2021, 2022, 2023
- Grand Champions (Mahi Mayhem): 2023
- Largest Bull Male Angler, Top Fish Day 1 & 2, and Top Captain (Chris Ware) honors
What’s Next
With a new HCB under construction, Executive Decision is setting its sights on the elite South Florida sailfish circuit—including the Quest for the Crest 3-leg series by Bluewater Movements:

Victory in all three? That earns you the legendary Burgundy Jacket, sailing’s answer to the green jacket at Augusta.
“We’re coming for it. The jacket. The title. The legacy.”
